Laser evidence and contraindications in the treatment of anal fissure.

Here is a case of a patient with flatus incontinence (flatulent gases) and a fistula which was created after a laser surgery for a diagnosed anal fissure. The fistula’s external opening is clearly visible in the following pictures. Moreover, the 3D endoanal ultrasound examination shows exactly the segmentation of the internal anal sphincter which is responsible for causing flatus incontinence.
