{"id":3878,"date":"2024-08-26T15:20:20","date_gmt":"2024-08-26T12:20:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/proctology.gr\/?p=3878"},"modified":"2024-08-26T15:20:21","modified_gmt":"2024-08-26T12:20:21","slug":"classification-of-hemorrhoids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/proctology.gr\/en\/classification-of-hemorrhoids\/","title":{"rendered":"Classification of hemorrhoids"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hemorrhoidal disease is a fairly common condition occurring after the engorgement of the normal hemorrhoids, while in the majority of the cases hemorrhoids do not give any symptoms. \u0397emorrhoidal disease is classified in four different degrees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1st degree: Hemorrhoids bulge into the anal canal during bowel movements and may cause some blade symptoms (bleeding, itching etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2nd degree: First stage of hemorrhoidal prolapse. The hemorrhoids protrude from the anus during bowel movement, then retract back into the body by themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3rd degree: The hemorrhoids protrude from the anus during bowel movement but will stay inside if pushed back in manually (e.g by using a finger).
